About Jennifer

You do not have to figure this out alone. That is the whole idea.

Jennifer Deas, LCSW

Jennifer Deas, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I work with women who are carrying more than they let on.

Most of my clients find me at a turning point. A diagnosis they were not expecting. A pregnancy, or the loss of one. A perimenopausal season nobody warned them about. A loss that rearranged everything. Not because anything is wrong with them, but because something changed and they would rather not white-knuckle their way through it alone.

Why I Do This Work

"I know what it's like to carry the load all on your own. I want to create a space where women can receive tools to build strong, healthy lives, because when women heal, we all benefit."

What Working Together Is Like

I am direct, and I am warm about it. I will not sit in silence waiting for you to fill the space, and I will not hand you a worksheet and call it progress.

We work at the pace you set. Some weeks that means real, structured work on something specific. Other weeks it means saying the thing out loud to somebody who is not going to flinch. Both count.

I am not the expert on your life. You are. What I bring is training, a lot of experience, and the willingness to tell you the truth kindly.

Progress Over Perfection

The name of this practice is not decoration. Progress is greater than perfection, and baby steps are still movement. We are not aiming at "healed" or "fixed," because those are not real destinations. We are aiming at ease.

Outside the Session

This section is for the human parts — where you are from, what you do on a Saturday, what you are into. Whatever you want people to know before they meet you.

Placeholder. This is the part of both reference sites that makes them feel like real people rather than an institution, and it is worth filling in.
